Terms of Service
The terms for using this site and booking a job.
These terms are an agreement between you and Gator Family Junk & Repairs, LLC ("we," "us," "the company"). They cover your use of gatorfamjr.com and any request for junk removal, repairs, cleanouts, or a final clean. They are effective October 3, 2026. If you book a job, ask for a quote, or use the site, you agree to these terms.
A booking is a request
Submitting the booking form, or asking for a date, puts you on the schedule as a request. It is not a confirmed job, and it is not a fixed price, until we contact you and agree. We may decline a request, including work outside our service area, work we are not equipped or licensed to do, or a time we cannot staff.
A window shown as open can still be taken before we confirm yours. If that happens, we will offer another time.
Price
Hauling is priced by the room it takes in the trailer, not by the hour. Repairs are quoted before we start. The number we give you is the number you pay, unless you add to the job or the work on site is materially different from what you described. We will tell you before we do extra work that changes the price.
The military and law enforcement discount applies when you check the box and you are active, reserve, retired, or law enforcement. We may ask you to confirm that before the discount is applied.
What you are asking us to haul
You promise that you own the items, or that you have the owner's permission to have them removed and disposed of. Once an item is on the truck, it will not be returned.
Please have things separated before we arrive: what you are keeping, and what will go. We do not sit with you and decide what stays. We are not responsible for an item you meant to keep if it was mixed in with what you set out for us to haul, or if you told us to take it.
We are not responsible for cash, jewelry, documents, or other valuables left inside items you asked us to remove. Please check furniture, boxes, and bags before we load them.
What we do not take
We do not dispose of freon, so we cannot take refrigerators or air conditioners. We also do not take hazardous or regulated material unless we have agreed in writing beforehand. That includes fuel, solvents, paint thinner, asbestos, medical waste, and similar items. If we find material like that on a job, we may leave it and stop the affected part of the work.
Repairs
Repair work is limited to what we quote and you approve. If we cannot stand behind a repair, we will say so before we start. We do not take on electrical, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, or other work that Florida requires a specialty license for, unless we tell you in writing that we can do that specific job.
Access and safety
You will give us a safe way onto the property and to the items or the repair. We may pause or leave if the site is unsafe, if someone on the property threatens or abuses the crew, or if we cannot do the job without damaging the home in a way you have not approved. You are responsible for securing pets.
Payment and cancellation
Payment is due when the job is finished, in the amount we agreed, unless we have agreed in writing to different terms. Pay-at-close is not available on every job.
You may cancel a request before we arrive by calling or emailing us. If we have already traveled to the property, or already started, you may still owe the cost of the trip and of any work already done. We may cancel if we cannot reach you to confirm, if the job is not what was described, or for a reason in these terms.
Limits on our responsibility
We will do the agreed work with reasonable care. If we damage your property through our own negligence, we will work with you to make that right. To the fullest extent Florida law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or sentimental value. Our total liability for a job will not exceed the amount you paid us for that job.
These limits do not apply to liability that Florida law does not allow us to limit, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Your responsibility to us
You will cover claims, losses, and reasonable attorney's fees we suffer because you did not have the right to have the items removed, because you hid hazardous material, or because you gave us information that was not true. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by our own negligence.
The website
The site, the logo, the words, and the photographs belong to the company or its licensors. You may use the site to learn about the work and to request a job. You may not copy the site for your own business, scrape it, or try to break or overload it.
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep the schedule accurate, but we do not promise that the site will always be available or error-free. Photographs are examples of the work. They are not a promise that your job will look the same.
Changes, Florida law, and contact
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The posted version applies to bookings made after the effective date at the top. A change does not rewrite a job we have already confirmed, except where we both agree.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to those courts. If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stands.
